Beautifully decorated and clean and neat. A perfect getaway for the two of us. Big plus to have washer/dryer in the house. Location could hardly be better ... a few minutes walk to the beach, pools, restaurants and shops. No need for a car although our rental car fit neatly in the garage below. We were surprised to find two bikes in the garage for our use, as well as beach chairs and a beach wagon. Sofas are very comfortable to sink into after a day out and about. I would definitely return to this property! : )

The location is perfect....we were just a short walk to the beach and either walked or biked everywhere we needed to go the whole time. Communication with the owner and property manager was easy and check-in was a breeze. I highly recommend this beautiful home and can't wait to visit again!

This is a great location in Rosemary—beach side by the Cabana pool and and park. The space is very roomie for a carriage house above the garage.

My husband and I can’t rave enough about this beautiful property! It was the perfect spot for our babymoon, and we hope to return in the future with our baby. The place is within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. We loved having the bikes available to explore the town, and the wagon was incredibly useful to carry everything to the beach. Cheryl was amazing and easy to work with! She was super responsive and flexible when we needed to shift our dates due to Hurricane Zeta. Thank you!!!

Outstanding place. Great location. Unfortunately lots of construction going on around the unit. Only other negative was lack of common toiletries and kitchen items. Other than that as I said its a 5 star and those items are minor!

Just as last time, set up of property was excellent for small family. Great location and use of garage is key. Clear directions are given for check in and check out was great. Only minor hiccup was cleaning service did not appear to be as diligent prior to our arrival and when we shifted small furniture like the coffee table, we found old water bottles and napkins underneath.

Location was the best part of this trip. We walked/biked everywhere. I enjoyed using the bike provided and rented two for our boys (Adult bikes only are provided). The wagon provided was also super helpful for loading to take to the beach. Beach Walkway C is within 2 minutes of walking to, super convenient. I would recommend this place more for a small family, not for more than one couple. After staying here, I personally think it would be more functional to have an enclosed bedroom area (upstairs or somehow downstairs) for privacy. It is an all open concept. Since my boys needed down time, there’s only one tv and it’s in the living room. We did enjoy our time very much. The washer/dryer was also very useful. I also enjoyed having the garage to park my car in. However, the guests across the street parked a lot of their vehicle in the street so one time I could barely get my car out and then had to park on the street upon returning because their car made it difficult to get back in. Keep that in mind especially if you have a larger SUV. Overall, I definitely would recommend this place. Next time I hope to actually cook some meals in the kitchen. It’s a great setup but we ate out every meal!

Carriage house was well furnished, clean and had everything we needed for our week at the beach, although it would have been nice to have an extra bathroom. The wagon to haul beach stuff was a lifesaver, and bikes were used everyday. Just enough space for me and 2 teenagers. Perfect location just minutes to ocean and town. Brenda was extremely responsive when we needed help with the TV and extra kitchen supplies. Chair/umbrella rentals are all over the beach but you can take your own and find a decent space in between the rentals. Outdoor shower a plus. Would definitely rent this place again.Lisa Garofola

We had a wonderful time and felt the carriage house worked well for a party of three. Very clean and super cute. Great location and an easy walk to the beach.
Check in was easy and Cheryl was quick to the rescue when there was an AC issue noticed upon arrival. The carriage house had beach chairs, some small coolers for drinks, beach towels, and a wagon.
Came stocked with starter toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, Dawn Liquid soap, dishwasher pods, coffee filters, and coffee from the local coffee shop. Bathroom was small but had hot water and great water pressure. Plenty of towels but lacking in washcloths (probably an oversight by cleaning staff). Enjoyed having the small stackable washer and dryer. Had a small fan available which helped block out some noise. One more would have been perfect. We would stay at this property again however we are looking at bringing a larger group and have already starting discussing renting another property managed by Cheryl. We had a wonderful time and were sad to leave.

Cheryl was very easy to get in touch with if we had questions and made our stay perfect! We would recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in the Rosemary area!

We only used the wagon but was great knowing that other items were available. Instruction/information booklet was helpful. Cheryl was responsive to questions and requests. Lovely getaway!
We loved staying in this carriage house while on our stay to Rosemary Beach. The management group that runs this property does an excellent job of communicating and responding to any and all questions. We stayed with our two little girls and we really wanted them to have an actual bed to sleep on instead of a pull out because we were in town for a wedding and wanted them to get great sleep while we were there. This was one of the only propertys that had this kind of a set up. Honestly I didn't see any other that did, which made this IDEAL for our stay. The kitchen was a perfect size for us and came with all the basic necessities you need except for food of course. And this location is perfect -- about a block off from the green/water. So easy! The beds were very comfortable and clean and had great storage underneath for clothes. There are two patios to sit out on - not a view of the water, but a nice breeze and fresh air. The pictures were very true to what the property looks like, which was comforting when walking in. And the garage seems to be just used by the carriage house, which is a HUGE bonus because you are the only ones operating it so you're not disturbed by the main house guests during your stay. It was very quiet and private -- lots of blinds to block light etc. Very few negatives and I only say this to put this rental over the top: 1.) the bathroom needs updating 2.) it would be great if there was a top lock so that at night you could have more security. We never felt unsafe, but with two little kids sleeping downstairs and us upstairs it would have been nice to have. 3.) a hanging rod for the upstairs room would have been nice

We loved our time at this carriage house. My husband, almost 3 year old, and 18 month old stayed for almost a week. The location cannot be beat- 2 minutes to the beach, 1 minute to the pool and 2 minutes to the playground. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook most of our meals. The bottom floor garage was large enough for our full-size truck rental, and supplied a great wagon and beach chairs for our trips to the beach. The washer and dryer worked well and we used them every day of the week. The area was very quiet- we did not hear any street noise. The spiral staircase can be a bit steep for toddlers. We sectioned it off so that our children didn't attempt to climb it. The only safety issue for us was regarding the main door. There was not a deadbolt or other way to lock the door from the interior. This did make it difficult, as our toddlers could freely open the door as they pleased. Overall, an adorable carriage house in the perfect location for Rosemary Beach. We loved our stay.

Perfect spot!
We had a fantastic vacation in this carriage house. The location could not be beat with a two minute walk to the beach, one minute walk to the pool, and so close to the Main Street of Rosemary. The cottage was the perfect size for us and our two children (ages 6 and 4). We would love to come back sometime!

My husband and I stayed here for our 5 year anniversary. Great location to beach and pool - we rode the bikes that were provided everywhere! Very responsive to questions, will definitely recommend staying here!

Carriage house in Rosemary Beach
This was our second time we've stayed here. This time we had a few issues, the shower needed some updating. The floor of the shower looked dirty and got worse as the week went on. The shower water knob was loose when we got there and the day before we left the knob fell off. I called Brenda and she was very nice about it and offered to have someone fix it but at that time there was really no point, we could still turn it on without the knob. There was so much construction all around us, the trash trucks would start coming thru at 6:30am. Very difficult to sleep in. The bed was nice and a nice kitchen. The bikes were very uncomfortable with very skinny seats, the couple in the main house let us use two of their bikes that were provided and they were dirty and rusty and hard to ride as well. We had a nice vacation, just a few things that could have been better. I will probably not return to this carriage house

Great location, great interior
We had visited Rosemary beach in the past and loved the area, so we were very excited to find all of the carriage houses for rent at a more affordable rate than many of the houses/condos in the area. We clicked through several carriage houses, and decided on this one because of its location, reviews, and price. We cared more about being close to the beach than the main street/town area as we didn't want to carry all of our beach stuff very far. It's in a perfect location! It took no more than 2 minutes to walk to both the beach and the pool. The main street (with all of the restaurants/stores) was definitely within walking distance, but the bikes that come with the property made it a 2 minute bike ride to any of the Rosemary restaurants. The doughnut hole and a few other good restaurants are also <5 minute bike ride away. The carriage house is cute and well maintained on the inside. The size was perfect for my husband and I. Also very convenient that there is a small washer/dryer in the bathroom so we were able to do laundry while there. Check-in and check-out were easy. The beds were a little firm for my taste, but everything else in the house was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

A delight!
First time to Rosemary Beach and this unit worked very well for our family of 4 (two adults/two teens). The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to beach and town, the unit is very well appointed and maintained and the manager was incredibly responsive throughout the process. A gem!

This was my second time staying here, this time with my toddler and myself. It's so convenient to the pool, the beach and the town! Place is well kept and has just the right amount of amenities!

"Beautiful in an Ideal Location"

The Mercado was the perfect home for our family of three. The upstairs loft and outdoor balconies and grill area gave my husband and I plenty of privacy while our young son slept, while big enough with ample storage to accommodate all the things that accompany a family on vacation. The kitchen was great with updated appliances and plenty of kitchen ware - also in great shape. The location was centrally located near the beach and outdoor pool - a two minute walk tops. The double garage was clean, big enough to park our Tahoe in, and still store our stroller. The house came with two bikes in excellent condition that we were able to hook up to our Burly Bee (with the borrowing of a wrench from the Rosemary Bike Rentals). There was also a wagon in excellent shape that we used daily and several beach chairs that were more comfortable than the ones we rented. The beach towels and linens provided were in great condition and plenty big. The TV had Amazon, Hulu, Netflix available and there were some pretty fun family games we actually played when our little one went down. My only suggestion would be to install an interior lock on the main door. It automatically locks from the outside and requires code entry, but it gave us some scares when our son was able to open the door that was very close to a staircase. The stairs in the house were easily baby proofed w some pressurized gates we brought with us. Highly recommend and we will be back!

The side cottage was perfect for our family! Charming describes the spot perfectly! This was our second trip to Rosemary and we loved the location and kindness of the owner. Everyone was well kept, clean, and extras were provided (2 bikes, beach chairs, a grill, coffee, etc.).

The beach was just a few minutes to walk to as well! Cheryl was wonderful and checked in on us the first day! Would recommend!

Rosemary Beach is our favorite, and this small cottage at 53N Cartagena has the right location -- short strolls to either the beach or the town's shops and restaurants, and easy driving access to 30A. Having the choice of parking inside the private locked garage or just outside it is a big plus. The cottage itself has just about all the amenities and supplies you could want, and two bicycles are available in the garage. Beds, couches and chairs are comfortable, and the interior is clean and well maintained. Cheryl was great at answering our questions in advance, and Brenda was exceedingly helpful and friendly -- she readily came by to make sure we were doing well and to respond to a minor issue that she quickly resolved. Only potential negatives -- no dvd player, and the spiral staircase to the loft might be a problem for some people. However, the main bed is downstairs, and you have no need to go up to the loft unless you're using the second bed upstairs. We have stayed two years in a row and will likely be back next year.

We just returned from a wonderful stay at this property. The location was great and the cottage was perfect for our family of 3. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and had everything we needed for a week long stay. Cheryl was great to work with and was very quick to respond and answer any questions I had. Accommodations exceeded our expectations. Location was close to beach, pool, and downtown. Cheryl and Jeanine sent us a welcoming message and phone call upon arrival making sure we knew they were available if we needed them. We would definitely book again with them.

Great cozy carriage house, nice amenities, perfect location only a few minutes away from beach / pool and restaurants, we even grilled out on the new Weber grill (Gas provided!)

Rented the cottage house for two weeks with my two teenage girls. It was a perfect. The location can't be beat. Close to beach and main street. Beds were comfortable. Area was quiet. If my husband had come, don't think it would have worked (for those of you with husbands that snore loudly); but for the 3 of us it could not have been better. We totally relaxed, and had a great time.

"AWESOME - MAGICAL PLACE - BEST VACATION"

We are family of 4 with two small kids. We had a blast and this was the perfect spot! Exactly as it appears online. Super clean with nice amenities (love the shampoo/conditioners), beds exceptionally comfortable, and so close to the beach. Took about 4 mins to walk to beach and 1 min to walk to pool. The town is magical, where everyone rides their bikes without helmets and it's just super relaxed. The carriage house was perfect for our family, with outdoor shower and private patio with our own grill, two bikes too! There is really nothing I can say that was wrong. We'll be back again! And Cheryl and Jeanine -- you were such wonderful hosts to work with...thank you!

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, and this was the perfect size for us. I don't think the location could have been any more perfect. Close to everything you might need - beach, shopping, and eating are all within walking distance. Even though it's close to everything, it also very quiet. We enjoyed our week here tremendously!

"Perfect wedding anniversary get away"

The location is excellent, very close or the nicest pool in Rosemary Beach, very short walk to the beach and the restaurants and shops. All the essential items were stocked-laundry and dishwasher detergent, paper towels, etc. Very clean! We really enjoyed using the 2 bikes that are available. Perfect spot to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! Cheryl and Jeanine were wonderful too, calling upon our arrival to answer any questions and to make sure we had no concerns. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return!

"Pretty, Clean & Good Location"

This is our fifth time renting in Rosemary and this was one of our favorite rentals. The open concept and loft area made this small space seem very spacious. Jeanine and Cheryl also made the process very easy. I loved how well stocked the carriage house was - coffee, filters, soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, etc... So much appreciated! The one bummer was how the sun comes in the transom windows (the only ones without blinds) if you are in the bed on the lower level. Also, if the lights are on in the tower across the street or if the outside lights are on at the carriage house across the way - they shine right through the blinds. I had a difficult time sleeping most nights, however my husband and daughter were fine.

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage for Christmas and New Year's. The location was ideal with a private patio and a very close walk to the Eastern Green at Rosemary. We brought our own bikes but Cheryl & Jeanine had provided new bikes for the cottage renters....very nice ones! The cottage is well appointed and comfortable. Cheryl & Jeanine were a pleasure to work with during this special vacation at Rosemary Beach. We look forward to returning!

"Celebrating the Holidays"

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage for Christmas and New Year's. The location was ideal with a private patio and a very close walk to the Eastern Green at Rosemary. We brought our own bikes but new bikes were provided for the cottage renters....very nice ones! Bike paths make it safe and easy for long treks which we had every day. The cottage is well appointed and most comfortable. Cheryl & Jeanine were so accommodating and a pleasure to work with during this special vacation at Rosemary Beach. There are many restaurants within walking distance and "The Pearl" was our most favorite at Rosemary for excellent food and wonderful staff! Thanks to all that made this such a wonderful trip. We look forward to returning!

"Wonderful and Romantic Getaway"

My wife and I just stayed at this cottage last weekend, it was perfect for our anniversary celebration. Its a very short walk to the beach and the center of Rosemary Beach so very convenient. The cottage has everything you need and Cheryl and Jeanine were awesome to work with. It had all of the little amenities as well like coffee, shampoo, beach towels etc. The only thing missing were the bikes, but other than that it was perfect. We will definitely stay there again so thanks to everyone for making our trip perfect.

WOW! Great location on quiet end of Rosemary Beach and a path away from the best pool in Rosemary. Meander down a couple short paths and you are on the beach. A few more paths and you're in the center of town. Quiet streets. Park your car at the carriage house and leave it for your stay. No need to drive anywhere! Nice, clean and modern carriage house! Cheryl and Jeannie were great and easy to work with throughout the process!

We dashed away for a last minute beach trip and loved this carriage house! The location was perfect- very quiet, close to the beach; beautifully decorated with great amenities. We used the patio and grill, too. The bathroom is small but was fine for the two of us. Also missed having bikes furnished but otherwise a great place- and we will definitely come back again!

"Newly remodeled carriage house!!"

We just returned from a magnificent week at Rosemary Beach in this lovely carriage house. The owners just remodeled the home with top of the line amenities. The colors are soothing and so appropriate for the beach. We loved sitting on the balcony in the late afternoons. Also, the location is ideal for the beach and the pool as well as the east green which is less crowded. We highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great place to stay at Rosemary!
